Podcast: Seth Andrews / The Christian Radio Days
By popular demand, here's a blast from my religious radio past.
This week’s podcast takes me back to a time when Jesus was still Lord, Contemporary Christian Music was somehow cool, and I hadn’t yet properly read my own Bible.

I only had one tiny clip from the KXOJ days, but here are some old newspaper clippings, as well as the (now deleted) reference to me on the “History of KXOJ” website. Likely for SEO reasons, the station saw fit to remove me from its archive. Fortunately, the internet never forgets…and neither do I.
Just after we added radio veteran Jim Marbles to the morning lineup. We would co-host together for six years.
With Christian quartet The Imperials around 1996.
So much youth. So much hair. 1997, I think.
And here’s the before/after on the “History of KXOJ” web page.
Ultimately, I’m thankful for those days. The audience was lovely, my memories are largely fond ones, and despite my embrace of superstition, the experience made me a more informed (and more compassionate) apostate.
